I'm quite happy with mine. I used the solo before I got the rack mount 
fbx2400 and am quite happy with that as well. The sabine is consitered a 
notch filter wich only cuts 1/10th of an octave so it should minnimally cut 
tone and does for me. I used it at montreux (Youtube link below) in 2004 and 
continue to use it wheneveer I play. I do wish to A/B with the Kinder and 
will post the results when I do.
Having said all that, $$$$ was the issue.
